catching up...

i havent played this game for like 2 years ? im 43lvl ranger and i dont know what to do now besides from continuing my quests. all my gear is outdated
im interested in some armor and bow where could i get some good ones ? What boss drops good ranger gear ? im lost in this game
why cant i find group for q1 ?
where is watery grave ?
why events so complicated ?

 

Part of the problem is that you're level 43 - there's still plenty of game available for you. These events tend to be oriented to players who have completed most the regular game content.

That being said, if you can farm ravencaw difficult, do it. It is a good source of extraordinary and legendary gear as well as anders.

While you'll also find this info in the sources above, I'll just give you a quick answer. Watery Grave has been removed from the game and replaced with the Splintered City of Cardhun.

it says in the guide , NPC Ammon will provide you with a series of quests. Play through the quests series to unlock the dungeons.
I dont have anyone called ammon in Splintered City of Cardhun

 

Ammon is close to the travel stone ... on the left side.

Honestly, if you want better gear, try solo running ravencaw difficult. I'm getting tons of extraordinaries and legendaries there, and the map is easier and more bountiful than the pw maps, and it respawns quite fast too.

 

You have to complete the quests one by one ... and because you said you are returning from 2 year abstinence you must take and finish them again.

yes that is correct i gave up and now the game has changed even more .i want to start again
they only door in carhun is parallel world grimmagstone i had this quest in my inventory (Quest collect 54 andermatic water from flamecult worshippers)
im trying to complete this quest but nobody wants to do q1 .why is no one playing in q1 ?
about castle ravencaw what do you mean solo running ? once i enter castle revencaw (through kingshill) the quests that fox gives me for gloomy pastures needs some pearls to enter that cost andermant to buy . other dungeons in revencaw needs pearls to enter too .

 

You can enter the castle on difficult mode, the entrance is near Fox and it doesn't require anything to enter...
The elemental monsters there (minibosses, not the ones that stand still, those ones give no drops) will drop extraordinary items and you may get better equipment than what you currently have

 

That is the first quest ... you need to finish it before taking another one.

Maybe it is your level. What level are you?

You get those pearls from the monsters in Castle Ravencaw.
You need to farm the Castle constantly.

 

im 43 lvl, revencaw hard .well i farmed it like 6 times and no legend drop still .
and its very hard for my character . mobs are strong there

 

Which is why there are these crazy things called "groups." And 6 times with no legendaries is normal. The drop rates haven't gone up that much.

 

The mobs are not strong but your character is weak.
That is why I always recommend players to reach cap level as soon as possible ... from that point they would only be stronger ... unlike when they are level 43. When you are lower level there is always possibility to raise few levels during the events and from that point you are getting weaker and weaker ...

 

Mobs are not strong there. You need to level through parallel by going slowly with a group, or another option is just to leave group open and then let the XP blockers do their magic. If Ravencaw is too hard on hard mode, try normal mode. The bosses that stand still drop 4-10 pearls and you could easily farm 200-300 pearls an hour there, while working through the quests. If the bosses at Ravencaw hard were too strong for you, I don't know what you will do about Dragan and Spider. Use reds if you have them, or try to find a good strong group. But Trakilaki's advice is very good, level to 50, and from there you can only get stronger. Or if you don't feel comfortable jumping that gap, you cou stay at 44 for a while and block XP to improve your gear without leveling.

i played yesterday for 7 hours straight and i only have 132 cursed pearls. farmed most maps in revencaw , and revencaw hard. solo.
finding a group is IMPOSSIBLE. i really mean it . i cant find any group to play with me.
all lvl 50 characters who do spider and dragan hard . Q1 cant find a single person im all day in the chat typing .
someone told me in chat to do the quest with the red pearl box in order to get black pearls, its a bug he said , anyone has a clue what he is saying ?

 

Create a group (with only your char in). Some low lvls will ask to enter in your group. Usually they're strong, so let them in. If not, kick them.

When doing the daily quest, if you want black Dragan pearls, click on the chest for the red empowered pearls, and if you want red pearls, click on the chest dor black pearls.

 

i still dont get what you say.
When i complete a quest from fox, he tells me to open a chest and i can only open the one that is glowing .
