The loot management in this game is still archaic. The number of mouse clicks I have to do to a whole inventory full of loot is ridiculous.

To start off, we still have to pick up the vast majority of the loot or walk practically on top of it to get it picked up. Quite frankly, if they made pets in this game run around and pick up my loot for me, it would make life so much easier. Pets are only available in PvE anyways, why not make them more useful than boosting our stats? Moreover, the loot function should be customizable on a pet menu that lets us select the types of loot we want them to pick up - which would be important given that inventory is so limited in this game it's not possible to farm for hours without going back to town.

Once the loot is in our inventory, we still have to go through the problem of right-clicking everything. Why not give us the option of a single-click to ID everything or dropping ID'd items by default? This IDing items step is just a remnant of the days when Crystals of Truth were a thing, and it's an unnecessary step in today's meta where you want to ID everything in hopes of locating a gold line. The stats of an item are determined when they drop, not when they are ID'd, so it really is just redundant.

Last but not least, please give us buttons to sell/melt all items of a single type. That way when we go to the vendor, we should see these buttons: [Sell all white items] [Sell all green items] [Sell all blue items] [Sell all purple items] [Sell all orange items] [Sell all uniques]. There would be a similar button with the NPC for melting. Clicking any of these buttons will promptly discard all of that type of item on that page of your inventory and give you the appropriate amount of currency.

I actually don 't bother collecting loot myself or clicking too many times to sell or melt items. What I think would be more useful is a way of seperating golden line items from the common. Maybe they should have a slightly different colour or sth like that.
Anyway, I liked your ideas too and the auto-loot pet is quite interesting.

i really favor mass sell/melt option, though i would customize it so that the Melt/sell green blue.... would only apply for the current page of inventory. i believe that most of players are using invetory as storage for gold stats items or old uniques and this way you would dodge the accidental melting/selling them easily.

In my opinion, collecting the loot yourself and then selling/ melting it one by one item is a major aspect of the game. We can't just throw them away just like that. After all, how much time do you sacrifice doing that? 5 minutes a day? 10 minutes a day? It's not really worth changing it. But the ID system should be revamped. It's not really working after Crystals of Truth.

A option to autocolect all things, plus detect golden line, without reveal the item, and melt or sell all equipament at currently inventory. All this things now please, our mouse and fingers, they thanks.

I imagine the top1 on farm rank, this guys play like 10 hours in farm a day, this kind of person, probably need 1 mouse for week, so many clicks, haha

I have almost maxed inventory space (just missing 1 line). When I'm playing, I usually try to collect all my loot since I need the coins from selling stuff for crafting. So multiply all those bag slots x number of times I'd fill my inventory in an evening of playing = I spend a ridiculous amount of time just sitting there managing my inventory when I could be off frying more monsters.

On the flip side, the peeps I play with typically have far less inventory space, so they are always stopping to go sell/melt while I'm stuck there waiting for them.

If the whole process could be more streamlined from start to finish, it would improve the player experience and yes... save our poor mouse. :p
